Hopick 2.3.1 — Comments That Load First, and Names That Ping You.

This update is about the small things that make a conversation feel easy: comments that are there the moment you want them, your own history even when the network isn't, and a way to pull someone into the thread without shouting.
Comments that are already there
Faster loads. Comments now fetch a light list first, then only the bits that changed. Threads open quicker than they used to, and they settle into place sooner.
Your history, even offline. When the network drops, recent comments still show up instead of a blank screen. You keep the thread you were already reading.
Tidy as you go. Old threads clear themselves out over time, so nothing piles up forever and the list stays fresh.
@mention, and the other person knows
Tag someone. Type @name in a comment and they get a push notification, right away.
One tap to context. Opening the notification takes you straight to the post, with the reply and its thread already in view. No hunting around.
A smoother pull-to-refresh
Refreshing actually refreshes now. The activity feed no longer gets stuck partway; everything settles into place properly after every update.
The problems we fixed
- Threads that made you wait. Long comment lists used to mean loading screens. Now they start fast and finish faster.
- Empty screens offline. A flaky connection used to leave you with nothing. You keep what you've already seen.
- Being talked about, in the dark. If someone named you in a comment, you found out when you stumbled across it. Now you're told.
What's next
We're working on a smarter home feed, richer posting tools, and a more personal profile. And performance — every release gets faster, never slower.
