Hopick 1.0.5 — Fast Offline, Clubs Rebuilt, Photos With Style
by Hopick Team, Founders
Hopick 1.0.5 is the biggest update since we launched. Everything we shipped this time wraps around three ideas: never make you wait, give clubs a proper home, and let photos show personality.
Offline without thinking
The moment you tap, the app opens. Feed, clubs, and counts all load straight from your phone, so Hopick feels fast even on a shaky connection. You do not need to think about offline or online. Sync takes care of itself. Anything you do without a connection is saved, and it is pushed up the moment you are back. Nothing is lost, nothing needs a refresh, and nothing waits on you to remember.
Clubs rebuilt
Clubs get a real home at last. Creating one is now a guided, step-by-step flow that does not feel like a form. The club page itself breathes: collapsible headers that get out of the way, a Following tab so you can catch up on your own pace, and richer cards that make a club feel worth reading. Scrolling through a club is smooth now, the way a long feed should always have felt.
Notifications you actually see
Notifications stopped being easy to miss. A real-time activity feed gathers everything in one place. Quiet toasts appear without shouting over what you are doing, so you catch a moment without being pulled out of it. And for community-wide announcements, broadcast updates reach everyone at once, not just the people who happen to be looking.
Photos with personality
Photos finally show personality. There is a photo editor with filters drawn from the city, and viewer that feels calmer to use, with smoother zoom and a browse that just feels right.
What's next
We are tightening comments and richer discovery, everything to roll out faster and more personal with each release. If something breaks, tell us. If something feels right, tell us louder. Come chat with us on Discord.
